If you know me well enough, you’d know that I generally don’t thrive with looking into details. I tend to look at macro, flit on one thing, dwell in it for a while, and then I move on to another.
That’s one reason why I like posting here. I can talk about all sorts of things. And then move on.
The last thing I enjoy is looking at details.
Which is basically what I have to do a lot of these days.
It’s part of my job. You know, to earn the keep.
Ha.
Well, recently, one thing I had to study in detail was staff health plans. Dreadful. Comparing figures with statistics with what’s offered. Took me days. No, weeks, to make some sense of the different things available. I found myself wishing I could either be far, far away from this job, or at least have access to some simple health savings account consultant so that I don’t have to work so hard!
Anyway, I managed to get it done – eventually.
And now back to posting!
