I have been getting a flurry of sms-es. From my Dad.

My dad is 78. Thank God, he is reasonably healthy and fit, apart from the usual complaints which are normal for a person of his age. One other thing I am thankful for is that he does not need incontinence products. If that were to happen, my mother who is only 3 years younger, would probably need a lot of help then. Or else I will once again try to persuade them to move across the seas so I can care for then… which I doubt they will want.

Meanwhile, Christmas is coming up, and I guess he misses the Christmas he had last year where he was with us and had such fun…. I must call him shortly.
