“We need to raise the standard,” he said. We agreed.

“We need to get some cool gear,” he insisted. We listened.

“We need to make a visit to the shop,” he enthused. We raised our eyebrows.

“We need to some new gear,” he pronounced, heading for the door. We went, “Say what?!”

Fearing that what he wanted was skyscraper-like in costs was in actual fact, manageable equipment with which to enhance the sound he had in mind for his number for the Day of Covers.
